In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the development and success of our youth teams, focusing on recruitment, retention, and player growth.

Roles and Responsibilities On-Field Coaching:
Lead dynamic and engaging coaching sessions for assigned teams, emphasizing player development and tactical understanding in line with LFC's coaching philosophy.
Leadership:
Provide guidance and mentorship to coaching staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment conducive to individual and collective growth.
Expansion Initiatives:
Collaborate with the Director of Coaching (DOC) to identify and pursue expansion opportunities, contributing to the long-term sustainability and success of the academy.
Feeder Program Development:
Work closely with the DOC to establish feeder programs and pathways, ensuring seamless transitions for players as they progress through the academy system.
Coaching Education:
Take the lead in organizing and delivering coaching education programs for staff members and the recreational program, promoting continuous learning and development.
Qualifications USSF or equivalent coaching license (minimum C-level, preferred B-level or higher) Previous coaching experience within a youth soccer club environment, with a strong understanding of player development principles Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate both players and staff Genuine passion for youth development and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive environment for all participants Collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively with colleagues, parents, and players towards shared objectives Familiarity with Liverpool FC's coaching methodology and a willingness to uphold the club's values and standards Dedication to personal and professional growth, demonstrated through ongoing education and development opportunities.
