We are seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage scheduling efficiently.
Responsibilities:
-Greet patients and their families warmly as they arrive at the practice -Schedule appointments and manage the calendar efficiently -Verify patients' insurance coverage and process insurance claims -Collect co-payments and payments for services rendered -Answer phone calls and emails, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments -Maintain patient records and update information as need -Coordinate with dental assistants and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow -Keep the front office area clean and organized -Assist with administrative tasks such as filling, scanning, and faxing documents -Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for patients and their families - Follow HIPAA guidelines in handling patient information Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent -Previous experience in the healthcare or dental office setting preferred -Strong communication and interpersonal skills -Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities -Proficiency in computer software, including MS Office and dental practice management software -Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures prefered -Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times -Compassionate and patient-centered approach when dealing with children and families Job Type:
